The PhotoHunt for this week is 'END'
Fitting for the last weekend of 2012.
This is actually a photo of a painting done by Fifi a fellow blogger
~ perfect for the new year.
I'll be cooking a pot of greens and black eyed peas for good luck in the New Year . . . and maybe a bit of bubbly for the end.
Happy Hunting y'all ~

~ ZesTy ~
The PhotoHunt for this week is 'Zesty'.
A lot of y'all will be able to relate to the time we spend waiting in an airport lounge . . .
It helps to pass the time if you have a ZesTy drink and WiFi.
Share your zesty link and we'll pop by for a visit~
Happy Huting y'all,

* Stellar *
The PhotoHunt for this weekend is *Stellar*
I found this photo from one of my trips to Florence.
This is a shot of the Madonna ~ High a top the Duomo.
It would be hard to notice the stellar blue backdrop, without a zoom. Check out the FaceBook PhotoHunt page for the actual view.
The natural lighting was stellar as well . . . don't you think?

~ Fall ~
There is confusion on this week's PhotoHunt Theme.
Sorry ~ First, I had listed 'Quietly' . . . then I was corrected, because we had just hunted Quiet.
So I changed it to 'Fall' . . . alass, apparently not everyone got the message.
I will say . . . just like I do to the kids and hubby when dinner doesn't come out just right.
Complain to me on PayDay. (because there isn't one)
Instead, I decided to post a photo that represents both Fall and Quietly.
This was just after the landing of our hot air ballon in a Tuscan field. . . after the soft landing, we watched the balloon Fall Quietly.
Happy Hunting y'all~

~ Mural ~
On of the most beautiful Abbys in Tuscany is Monte Oliveto Maggiore . . .
The monestary on the mountain.
It was begun on this site in the 1300's.
The most amazing murals are in the rectangular Chiostro Grande. This portico is decorated with a fresco cycle by Luca Signorelli that depicts the life of Saint Benedict. Singnorelli began work but the cycle was finished in 1508 by the famous Italian artist Sodoma.
This is one panel of almost 40 ~ a beautiful mural. It depictsthe Benedictine monks building the Monestary on top of the mountain.
Along with a few of Sodoma's favorite pets.
Leave your comment and a link ~ we'll stop by for a visit.
