I love the textures of the water, the sand and the footprints. . . almost as much as I love a trip to the beach.

I like your explanation. That photo would never have made me think of texture, but that's what interesting about the photo hunt - everyone has a different perception.
*wide eyed look* b-b-but..that sand looks WET! We kittehs don't much like wet - though Mom tells us we don't know what we're missing...the sand squishing between our toes... EWWWW.
I finally uploaded a photo for texture. I took a lot of them at an old cemetery in New Orleans, specifically photographing textures. It was hard to choose just one! Here it is.
