Years ago there was a company called Head's Up which made bathroom fittings--towel bars, old-fashioned gravity-flow toilets, things like that. Their towel-bar line included milled oak hands holding the brass bars. I wish they were still in business.
This is so unique..... never seen anything like it. Mine is here..... nothing unusual..... just hands : http://mypinkcloud-ranu.blogspot.in/2011/11/giving-and-receiving.html
You've shown a fabulous and fascinating photo today! We have not posted in awhile ... but have done so today, showing the art of Mehandi ... hand painting with henna, an Indian tradition. Please stop by ... http://zoolatry.blogspot.com Thank you, Ann

That is spooky! But I guess you could get used to it, especially if you see it every day. Mine is up just now, I almost, almost forgot again. So I'm clapping my hands in glee because I didn't!
Finally posted for this one. My series of four photos shows my son, nearly 2 at the time, trying to squeeze himself into an impossibly small cabinet, until in the end only one little hand is sticking out.
