~JOY~

The PhotoHunt theme for the week is 'Joy'.
This was a hard choice.
I find joy in so many things; in Travel, in Nature, in Family and Friendships, in Doing, in Creating and in Quiet.

This photo of the light at the top of the walkway leading to the Basilica di San Luca symbolizes most of those things to me.

    I had told myself I wasn't going to post a cliched cute-kid picture for Joy. It just seemed too easy. I mean, what can look more joyful than a small, deliriously happy child? Then I looked through my own photos, and the one that stood out was of my small son, deliriously happy to have a piece of cake in front of him. So I'm going for it.
