To me it represents a scrumptious weekend on the Gulf coast ~
Ocean breezes, Sun, Surf and a platter of oysters.

    I miss the US's good, cheap oysters so much!!! Fortunately, have found different good foods to enjoy in Hong Kong...

      Mussels are always my first choice!
      But let's face it... raw oysters are easier to 'cook'.

    I don't care for oysters on the half shell myself but they do look scrumptious. When we lived in WA we would camp overnight on the peninsula and a friend would walk the beach with an opener, a can of Tabasco and his appetite. He would would find the oysters and eat them right there as he found them.
