~ Bridges ~

The PhotoHunt for this weekend is Bridges.

I thought about a photo of London Bridge . . . but we all know that is not very exciting.
So instead, I went with a shot of Tower Bridge from the drawgates of the Tower of London.

Leave your comment and a link ~ we'll hop the bridges of the www and visit your blog.
Happy Hunting y'all ~

  1. That's a great shot. My bridges are extremely ordinary because I was combining the two photohunts.

  4. I like the vantage point from which you took the shot, Sandi. You managed to offer up a creative take of a much-photographed landmark!

My take on this week's theme is here:-

  15. That is a beautiful shot of the Tower Bridge. Even if we have seen the traditional tourist shots, yours offers a wonderful new perspective. While there are many types of bridges besides the ones that go over roads and water I posted a picture of a bridge I crossed a lot in my college days. It went over a gorge which was 180 feet below it and connected the residential side of campus where the women's dorms were located to the academic part of the campus. Yes I started college before co-ed dorms and I am very happy I did. During my junior year they first introduced co-ed dorms to the campus. I tried and ran back to live in my sorority house. The boys were noisy, messy, and inconsiderate. I didn't want to live with any males until I got to make the choice or, in the case of brothers and sons, they were given as a gift to one.

  16. You should have used the GW Bridge with Gov Christie’s traffic jam. I didn’t use that either. http://www.stunningkeisha.com/2014/02/bridge-over-artsy-keisha.html

  23. I've posted an entry for BRIDGES. Actually, there are three bridges in this post, one in Tuscany and two in Iowa and Nebraska. (Strange, the last comment links to an Iowa bridge as well.)
