I usual think of candy corn around Halloween but a I have seen candy corn around Easter but it was done up in Pastel colors Mine is up and the coffee is on.
This is a pic of Kash Phool biological name Saccharum spontaneum. It grows on its own during this time in the year. Currently I have lots of it growing all round me. http://mypinkcloud-ranu.blogspot.in/2012/10/kash-phool-on-windy-day.html
I don't think I've ever had candy corn - love the colours though! We don't get any trick or treaters where we live (kind of on a back rural road...and all the kids go in droves to the nearby subdivisions for the higher concentration of goodies!)
Ann Paws~ You are always welcome to join in! We have a lively and international group who hunt photos for Saturday. Next week we are hunting 'kite'... I wonder if anyone will pronounce that kit-e?
Love the candy corn pic! This week's hurricane made me think of seasonal extreme storms, so I posted a pic of the destruction wrought by the 2011 tornado in Tuscaloosa. http://petrini1.livejournal.com/
I love candy corn! Great photo, and definitely the season for munching on them. I did my tiny back yard tree....has looked so sad all summer long, finally, it received a touch of fall (seasonal) magic.
